Frequently asked questions
Even though direct thermal label printers typically print one label at a time, they are able to print PDF's. When given a PDF, the printer assigns each page of the PDF to a single label. With the appropriate template selected, Lightning Address Labels inserts a page break between each label so that one page of the PDF represents one of the labels in the batch.
The content being printed inside a label (or inside a region of the label) always has the potential of being larger than it’s allotted area. When it is larger, the application will automatically decrease the font size until it does fit within the boundaries of it’s area.
The maximum font size setting can be used to control uniformity across all labels. However, complete uniformity is not possible when printing content of dynamic dimensions to a label whose dimensions are fixed.
