Address prefix
An address prefix is a short text that is placed above the address to provide additional context. It is typically used to convey the purposeof the address, such as indicating whether it is the destination (“TO”) or the origin (“FROM”) of the mail.
A prefix can be set for mailing addresses and return addresses:
- Click on “Address” menu drop down.
- Locate either the “Mailing Address Prefix” or “Return Address Prefix” section.
- Enter your desired prefix (up to 25 characters) in the text field.
- Click “OK”
Return address prefixes apply only when the Return Address Labels option is set to “Default return address”.
Remember, this feature is optional. If you prefer not to include a prefix, you can simply leave the field blank.
